Multi day river trips are a fantastic way to experience the beautiful of the Wye Valley. So whether you’re camping, glamping or AirBNBing your way down the river leave the world behind and spend a few days getting back to nature. For all multi day trip you will need to make your own camping/accommodation arranges however we take care of everything else.
Day 1
On day 1 we shall meet you at the pre agreed start time (generally 1000 Sun to Fri & 0900 Sat).Ā After your safety and instructional briefing you will have the chance to pack equipment into your boats before heading off down river toward Hereford for relaxing day on the water. Once in Hereford make camp at the Hfd Rowing Club and head up into town for many eating and drinking options.
Day 2
Hereford to Hoarwithy (18 miles).Ā On your second day you have a little distance to cover is its definitely worth heading off early. As you head out of town you’ll come to the Lucksal caravan site which give you the opportunity to pop in for a coffee you even a late breakfast before continuing on to Tresseck campsite in Hoarwithy. This is a great campsite but can get busy so its worth booking ahead. The campsite offers fantastic food and drink options and there is also a pub 5 mins walk away.
Day 3
Hoarwithy to Ross On Wye. On your final day you get to enjoy those beautiful views for one last time before reaching your final destination of Ross On Wye.Ā Arrive early if you can and head off into town for a quick drink before your collection and return journey to the Byecross campsite. Your collection point is 200 metre passed the Hope and Anchor pub on the left and the canoe access steps.Ā
